I'm just relaxing now at midnight after a huge day at the Valyside Australian fmx championships. The day was huge with practice and sussing out Langaz bike.

I've just arrived at narrogin in West Oz to find one hell of a competition course. The area is littered with jumps which includes 3 75ft jumps that go back and forward and jumps across the course. Dirt jumps in between and a mini sx track thatI think will probably get turned into speed and style for big bikes pretty quickly. Not to mention there is a wall ride that we need to shape a jump for today.Its been a long time since we've seen a real course in australia and it shows why the Narrogin team put on the best comps.

After owning and riding Yamaha's and Suzuki's for my entire life, I have made the big switch to the European counterpart, KTM and will be riding the new 2010 250SX for the next year.

Lakes Networking have just delivered my new Nokia N97 smart phone which is synched with my Laptop so I can work in just about anywhere in the world that can get a signal... and even if I can't get reception I still have The Simpsons videos I can watch to keep me sane.

Obviously the biggest changes around here which you would have already noticed is the new version of SteveSommerfeld.com. Jason and Tim from Lakes Networking have been working around the clock to build the new version which has many more functions than before and also a lot more to be added in the near future. The site has taken a more personalised approach, but still retaining the features and will have a blog section up in the next couple of days. That way I can keep it up to date while I'm on the road or overseas with my new N97 which Lakes Networking have supplied.I'll be able to update it quicker with more pictures and video's, and this time I'll even understand it a lot more to update it myself. The whole idea is to make it as easy to use as possible so virtually anyone could do it. (That and I don't have much time to re-learn web design...
