Busy busy and then sick
Once I arrived back home I was first hit with the realisation that Brisbane was once again flooded. Yep, there has been so much rain in South East Queensland and it's not even the wet season. It turns out this La Nina phase we are going through is going to be quite destructive this year and Brisbane is copping the full brunt of nature's wet and windy fury. Like the last time we had flooding in Brisbane, I was away and it was left to Rachael to protect our house. She did a good job, buying sand bags for the back door (even though downstairs was already flooded in too where my bikes are and all my gear). Then trenches had to be dug to divert some of the overflow. At least we didn't have cars getting washed off the driveway like a lot of Brisbane residents.Anyway, back to the topic - I've been real busy. I'm helping the promoter's of Powercross in Indonesia to put on their first international FMX competition. I'll have more details very shortly so check back to keep yourself up to date. It should bea hell of a comp though. We have Australian, Kiwi, US and Euro riders and perhaps even some Indonesian rider's if they're up for it.I also checked out the official Surya 12 MotoRiders website to get some dates when I stumbled across this picture from last weekends show in Solo. I have been very sick since I got home, and this really does look like how I felt haha.I just thought you would all get a bit of a laugh out of this photo - badly timed and I don't look like I'm in the right position.http://surya12motoriders.com/sites/default/files/oldsite/freestyle/frees..." style="float: left; margin-right: 5px;" />
